When it comes to luscious, slow cooked marinara sauces, the Italian grandmothers will win, every time. But when we want to make a tasty pasta sauce on a weeknight, this is our go-to. The ground veal adds a little extra richness to the classic bolognese, and the tomato paste, plus the white wine are major flavor boosters. Papardelle is a beautiful and unique pasta that is under-appreciated in my opinion. Lastly, add some crisp and cheesy toast to sop up the sauce, and ‘voila,’ dinner is served.
