Picadillo is an iconic Cuban comfort food. In this recipe, ground turkey has been substituted in for the traditional ground beef. The ground turkey and tomatoes are slowly simmered together resulting in a fragrant stew that has some similarities to an American sloppy Joe. Raisins are added for sweetness and olives add a salty, briny element to the dish. Served over brown rice this dish provides a satisfying and comforting meal; perfect to end your day. This recipe is adapted from Chef'd Ronaldo's Sabores de Cuba by Ronaldo Linares.
