"Each box includes 10 meals, 10 snacks or beverages and five pieces of fruit. The current kit is intended to act as an alternative to a college meal plan for students living off campus or in apartment-style student housing."
"Spoon University is teaming up with Chef'd so college students can purchase meal plans that replace having to carve out a few hours of study time to do groceries - or resort to dining hall meals."
"This will be a relief for both students and parents that students will no longer have to sacrifice time and money to get the healthy, delicious meals that they really want. And that's something we can really get behind."
For college kids without a car on campus, you know how hard it can be to get to the grocery store. You likely find yourself hopping in on your friend's grocery runs, and, if you're like me, you forget things you need almost every time.
You know exactly what your meals for the week will be, so make your grocery list. Include recipe ingredients and basic things you'll need for lunches, breakfast, snacks, etc. Healthy meal choices are easier and faster with a meal calendar.
It's not always easy getting to the grocery store. You might not have a car, the bus is unreliable, and asking your friends with cars to take you gets old. Walking is an option if you're lucky enough to live close to a grocery store.
