One of America’s leading voices on Asian cuisines, Andrea Nguyen is a celebrated author, cooking teacher, and culinary consultant based in Northern California. She’s known for diving deep into traditional techniques and interpreting them for modern cooks. Her writing has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Bon Appetit, Every Day with Rachael Ray, and Saveur.
Andrea’s landmark cookbooks, “Into the Vietnamese Kitchen”, “Asian Dumplings” and “Asian Tofu” were honored four times as finalists for James Beard Foundation and IACP cookbook awards. “The Banh Mi Handbook” was among NPR’s top 2014 cookbook picks. Her latest, "The Pho Cookbook," was released in February 2017.
